Welcome to the culinary haven known as Halal Kitchen, a gem located at 7112 Grand Ave in Maspeth, NY. Specializing in Halal Chinese cuisine, this inviting establishment knows how to blend the exotic flavors of traditional Chinese meals with the dietary preferences of the Halal-conscious diner.
Halal Kitchen offers an extensive menu that does not compromise on taste or quality. With prices starting at just $4 for dishes like the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, you’re not just feeding your appetite—you're indulging in a rich dining experience.
The restaurant's casual atmosphere makes it a spot I often recommend. The ambient charm and attention to detail contribute to a warm dining experience. Regular patrons echo a familiar sentiment; the attentive service from staff, especially from the likes of Sana, ensures your needs are met promptly and genuinely.
While some reviews mention the aging decor, the heart of the restaurant lies in its ability to deliver consistently delicious food. As Sadia H. mentions, families have been returning to Halal Kitchen for decades, proving its worth in the bustling culinary scene.
The standout highlights? Don't overlook the delectable Beef Teriyaki, which Brianna C. raves about as a perfect rainy day comfort food. And for soup lovers, the Chicken Corn Soup is a must-try, warmly cradling you in its rich, delicious essence.
Moreover, the flexibility in accommodating customer requests—something evidenced by Nadia A.'s positive experience—shows that Halal Kitchen aims to please. Their generous portion sizes are a bonus, ensuring you leave satisfied.
In summary, Halal Kitchen is more than just a restaurant; it’s a community hub that brings together flavors, friends, and families. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or a quick takeout, this establishment promises an experience filled with flavor and a sense of belonging. “ My family and I have been coming to Halal Kitchen for over 20 years. The ambiance and decor are rusty and worn-down and the restaurant no longer offers delivery services (Thanks a lot, Grubhub and UberEats!) so for me, I hop on the Q58 to get to Maspeth. In my opinion, while the prices have fluctuated in the upward direction, the menu items have remained solid and stable. The woman behind the counter, Sana, appears genuine and attentive to a party's needs. Because it is halal, this restaurant is quite popular with patrons from South and Central Asia as well as the Middle East. ”
“ Beef teriyaki always hits the spot! Amazing service every time! We love coming here on a rainy day for the chicken corn soup, beef lo mein and chicken w broccoli. ”
“ Best Halal Chinese food around, my family and I would die for Fatima's but now this is our go to! We order at least once a month ”
“ I recommend this place because the food was really good and the server was very nice and gave free drinks.and it was a calm place to eat no noise. ”
“ Ordered ubereats. I'm very sad that my favorite Fatima's Halal Kitchen is gone (for now), but this place has been the best Chinese spot I've tried since in my quest to find another good chinese takeout spot. Especially love that the teriyaki beef sticks are just as good. Portions are good (they don't skimp on the meat) and they even listened to our request on the notes section. Will be ordering again! ”
“ Delicious take out! Deserves better ratings. General TSO, beef lo mein, beef with vegetables, and sweet and sour chicken were some of the best i have ever had. Highly Recommend ”
